The MMath Mathematics program is an intensive four-year journey leading to master's-level studies. Tailored for students seeking deeper mathematical exploration or those aiming to apply advanced mathematics professionally or in research, this program offers flexibility to focus on specific mathematical disciplines or sample from our department's diverse course offerings.
This degree allows you to investigate Pythagorean number theory, financial mathematics underpinning markets, and specialized topics ranging from probability analysis and nonlinear PDEs to noncommutative geometry and algebraic topology. A levels: AAB-ABB including Mathematics.

Welsh Baccalaureate: Requirements are as for A levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.

BTEC: DDD any subject plus A Level Mathematics Grade B.

Scottish Highers: AABBB to include A in Mathematics.

International Baccalaureate: 34 with 6 in Higher Level Mathematics.

All applications will be considered on an individual basis, and we will look at the whole application when deciding whether to make an offer of a place, including: the balance, nature and quality of A-level, AS and GCSE subjects (or equivalent), personal statement and referee's comments.
