The MA in Modern Welsh Writing in English offers a distinctive and engaging program that examines the rise of English-language literature in Wales. Instruction is provided by the Centre for Research into the English Literature and Language of Wales (CREW), with thought-provoking courses covering the political, gender-related, and literary aspects of Welsh writing. Students can choose modules from related MA programs like English Literature and Creative Writing, as well as literature courses from other MA offerings within the College of Arts and Humanities. The program culminates with a 60-credit dissertation in the second year, allowing you to focus on a subject of personal interest.
