The Foundation Year serves as an ideal pathway to acquire the essential knowledge and competencies required to embark on an LLB degree. During this year, you'll explore fundamental legal concepts while developing valuable skills that will support your entire undergraduate journey.
This preparatory year is delivered at The College on our Bay Campus. Upon successful completion, you'll transition to the School of Law at Singleton Campus for the duration of your degree program.
With smaller class sizes, the Foundation Year ensures a tailored learning environment. You'll build crucial academic abilities through modules like Critical Analysis, Digital Literacy, and Academic Writing.
The curriculum also familiarizes students with legal principles and vocabulary across various subjects, including Legal Method, Contractual Principles, and Criminal Justice.
Progressing to the LLB Law degree opens numerous opportunities within the School of Law, from research internships to practical client work and skill development. Our active Law Clinic enables students to provide legal guidance, while extracurricular programs in mock trials, mediation exercises, and client interviews further enhance practical experience.
