Our Education and Psychology program provides comprehensive scientific training in understanding the connections between the mind, brain, and behavior, while also offering a strong foundation in educational policy, childhood development, and neuroscience in education. You'll gain thorough knowledge of modern educational practices in digital environments, explore education systems across different countries, study leadership approaches, and examine diversity and wellbeing in educational settings. The curriculum covers psychological and neuroscientific principles behind cognitive functions like thinking, memory, and language, establishing expertise in cognitive, social, developmental, clinical, and biological psychology. Students cultivate advanced research capabilities, analytical thinking, communication proficiency, along with strong mathematical and digital skills.

This BPS-accredited program serves as the foundation for professional psychology careers, with many alumni advancing to specialized psychology roles or further education. Entry-level positions for NHS trainee clinical psychologists typically offer £25,783, with potential earnings growing to £47,088-£81,000+ as careers progress (private sector salaries may differ). The combined psychology-education focus opens diverse career paths in areas like correctional education, support for children in care, special needs education, and community learning. Graduates also pursue opportunities in teaching (including ESL), government roles, research, healthcare, management, and marketing sectors.
