Our globally accredited Adult Nursing degree equips you with the expertise and practical experience needed to build a fulfilling career in this vital healthcare field. This comprehensive three-year BSc program blends academic learning with hands-on practice, teaching you to address the complete healthcare needs of adults across all life stages. You'll master professional competencies to deliver exceptional nursing care in diverse clinical and community environments. Throughout your studies, you'll gain proficiency in evaluating, designing, implementing, and assessing research-based care strategies that enhance adult health for both acute and chronic conditions. The program splits your learning equally between university instruction and real-world healthcare placements. Through our strong partnerships with numerous healthcare providers, you'll gain valuable clinical exposure throughout southwest Wales, including NHS hospitals and community-based settings in both public and private sectors.

Upon completing the program, you'll qualify to register as a Registered Nurse (Adult) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, with eligibility to practice across EU and EEA countries. Career opportunities are outstanding, with 99% of our nursing graduates securing professional or managerial positions within six months (Destination of Leavers Study, 2018). Entry-level nurses can anticipate starting salaries around £24,214, progressing to £43,772 for senior staff nurses, while specialized nurses and practice managers may earn upwards of £45,000.
