Civil engineers play a crucial role in shaping our physical surroundings. They contribute to diverse projects including bridges, tunnels, transportation networks, architectural structures, flood prevention systems, and water resource management - all essential components of contemporary life. This program provides comprehensive training in civil engineering design and structural analysis. Students will cultivate advanced problem-solving capabilities, learn to visualize and model engineering solutions, and gain proficiency in producing technical documentation. Students studying for BTEC qualifications in relevant subjects require D*D*D* - D*D*D, to include B at A Level Mathematics. If they are not taking A Level Mathematics, they must achieve a minimum D in Mathematics for Technicians and D in Further Mathematics for Technicians modules of the BTEC. Students are also required to have minimum two A grades at GCSE, to include a minimum grade B in Mathematics and two other Science subjects.
