This accelerated program enables graduates from non-construction backgrounds or practicing quantity surveyors to achieve chartered status, complemented by practical experience. Gain expertise in measuring, budgeting, planning, procurement, and overseeing construction projects while enhancing your understanding of theoretical concepts, contractual agreements, and professional applications through case analyses and practical exercises. Complete an industry placement to refine your abilities further. Acquire the competencies needed to serve as a quantity surveyor for both private and public sector clients or construction firms. The program holds accreditation from both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), with the goal of preparing graduates who fulfill the educational, professional, and ethical criteria set by these institutions. Through the Work Experience pathway, you have the opportunity to complete a 12-month professional placement during your second academic year.
