In this program, you'll engage in focused research within plasma surface engineering. You'll receive guidance from specialists, access state-of-the-art equipment, and join a collaborative academic environment. Your final project will join MERI's prestigious publications—many ranked as 'world-class' or 'internationally significant.' Our curriculum is built on core values that connect you with global perspectives, foster teamwork, encourage innovative thinking, and offer a nurturing space for growth.
Since this is a research-based program, you'll primarily work independently. You'll receive guidance from your supervisory team, including a Director of Studies and a secondary supervisor, both with expertise in your chosen specialization. Potential focus areas may involve HIPIMS plasma dynamics, thin-film formation analysis, or creating specialized coatings for industrial applications.
