This BSc Biomedical Science program, recognized by the Institute of Biomedical Science, develops your hands-on and technical abilities to equip you for a professional scientific career. You'll acquire comprehensive knowledge of biomedical science and learn to apply these concepts across medical practice, research, and broader scientific fields.

Students have the option to switch to the MSci pathway for an additional year focused on advanced research training.

For those who don't satisfy the admission criteria or prefer additional preparation before undergraduate studies, we suggest beginning with the foundation year. From A levels to include at least 24 points in any one A level and at least 16 points from a science subject (biology/chemistry/human biology). BTEC National qualification in Applied Science. We do not accept general studies. For example:

MPP in BTEC Extended Diploma.
Pass overall from a T level qualification in either the Health-Care Science or Science qualification.
A combination of qualifications, which may include AS levels and EPQ.

Access - an Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a science based subject considered. Normally we require 15 credits at level 2 and 45 at level 3.
