In this program, you'll chart your own academic journey worldwide, exploring modules spanning Britain, Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Australia. You'll sharpen your critical thinking skills about historical interpretations and their connections to modern times. Our curriculum is built on core principles that immerse you in global perspectives, foster collaboration, encourage innovative thinking, and offer a nurturing environment for personal growth.
You'll learn from accomplished historians specializing in their disciplines, while during the foundation year, you'll also interact with diverse experts from across the Department. The program provides extensive access to scholarly materials and original sources, helping you develop historian's skills while examining modern history's relevance to today's world.
