The SOAS LLM in International Law offers a distinctive and varied selection of courses that critically examine both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of international law, while addressing pressing modern issues with special relevance to the global south.

Course topics encompass areas such as asylum law and migration challenges, environmental law and resource management, women's rights and gender issues in warfare, global criminal justice, humanitarian law, corporate accountability and human rights, eco-friendly development, along with peace processes, reconciliation efforts, and post-conflict justice mechanisms.
