The SOAS LLM in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice offers specialized study in a dynamic legal field addressing key contemporary issues and discussions.

This program features diverse, unique courses that examine fundamental topics while critically analyzing human rights law theory and practice, with particular emphasis on the global South. Available courses cover international human rights law, international criminal law, refugee and migration law, humanitarian law, and post-conflict justice and reconciliation.

Students can also explore specialized courses examining particular legal perspectives, contexts, and interdisciplinary themes, including Human Rights in Islamic Law, Legal Approaches to Social Transformation, Human Rights in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, Crisis in Darfur, and Women's Rights.
