The BA Korean combined honours program equips students with comprehensive skills in written and spoken Korean, while offering exposure to both traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture - spanning from classical literature and history to modern film and television studies.
This Korean studies course accommodates complete beginners as well as learners with prior Korean language experience. The third academic year involves immersion in Korea to enhance linguistic abilities and cultural awareness, including insights into local business customs. As a combined honours program, it enables students to tailor their academic journey by pairing Korean studies with another discipline. All participants will complete their third year at either Korea University or Sogang University in South Korea.
