The Foundation Year serves as a preparatory course for students aiming to enroll in an undergraduate program at SOAS.
Throughout this year, learners develop essential skills and foundational knowledge needed for higher education. Alongside core modules covering academic practices, digital competencies, global challenges, cultural awareness, and numerical literacy, students explore introductory subjects from SOAS departments such as Finance and Management, Economics, and Law.
This program is ideal for students who would benefit from an extra year of preparation before starting their degree, including those who don't meet direct entry requirements or haven't studied relevant subjects previously.
