Among the most renowned scientific concepts, Einstein's relativity theory emerged from recognizing inconsistencies between Clerk-Maxwell's electromagnetism principles and Galilean relativity. Following this breakthrough and the advent of quantum mechanics, theoretical physics has continuously challenged existing knowledge by proposing increasingly sophisticated mathematical frameworks for comprehension and interpretation.
Our four-year Theoretical Physics MSci program encompasses all fundamental topics essential for graduate physicists, while placing greater focus on expanding your A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics knowledge to foster a more profound grasp of both classical and contemporary physics. This theoretical approach may enhance your ability to recognize the elegance and unexpected phenomena within Physics.

Required subjects:
A-levels in Mathematics and Physics, plus a pass in the practical element of all science A-levels being taken.
At least five GCSEs at grade A*-C or 9-4 including English and Mathematics.
IB - 6,6,6 at Higher Level including Physics and either 5 HL Maths: Analysis & Approaches or 6 HL Maths: Applications & Interpretation with a minimum of 32 points overall.
The scores we require
IELTS: 6.5 overall. No subscore lower than 5.5.
TOEFL iBT: 88 overall, with Reading 18 Listening 17 Speaking 20 Writing 17.
