Pursuing a joint honors degree in Modern Languages allows you to achieve fluency in your selected languages - French, German, Italian, and/or Spanish. Regardless of whether you begin at beginner, advanced, or native proficiency levels, you'll develop comprehensive abilities in writing, reading, speaking, and listening. Your studies will focus on core language components for your chosen languages, with instruction provided either entirely or partially by native speakers.
The remaining portion of your modern languages curriculum enables you to delve into the literature, arts, culture, and history of your chosen linguistic regions. This spans from 17th-century French drama to portrayals of youth in German society, and from Italian design aesthetics to visual arts throughout Spanish-speaking countries. As a language student, you'll cultivate outstanding communication and research capabilities while blending multilingual expertise with intercultural understanding.
