This Master's program in Renewable Energy Engineering bridges multiple disciplines, spanning the Schools of Engineering, Business, and Computing. Students gain hands-on experience through practical exercises, field trips, case-based learning, and guest lectures from industry professionals.

Participants may complete their final project in collaboration with industry partners, with support from our School's research teams specializing in these fields - equipping graduates with valuable research capabilities. The curriculum features collaborative projects tackling real-world challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Students can graduate with either an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering specializing in Innovation and Design, or in Operation and Maintenance.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline.
Applicants with either a relevant non-Engineering background such as Geology, Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics and/or applicants with a lower degree classification or those with relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants are not usually interviewed, although some may be if they do not meet the standard entry requirements.

IELTS - 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all 4 components.
TOEFL IBT - 88, Reading - 18,Writing - 17, Speaking -20, Listening -17, PTE Academic 61 with no band less than 51.
