The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EEECS) strives to improve technological applications across communication networks, healthcare systems, data protection, and various other interconnected fields. Cutting-edge research forms the core of our institution, as demonstrated by the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), where more than 80% of our research achieved international excellence or world-class status. Our School houses several specialized research facilities, such as a Global Research Institute focused on Cyber Security, Wireless Technology, and Data Science, along with the Institute of Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (ECIT) and the Center for Intelligent and Autonomous Manufacturing Systems.
