Biochemistry explores life at the molecular level. Using chemical principles, it addresses key challenges in life sciences, elucidates drug mechanisms, reveals disease pathways, and facilitates genetic manipulation. This field is fundamental to pharmaceutical development, biotech innovation, and medical research. Biochemists study molecular structures, functions, and roles in metabolic processes, cellular communication, and genetic inheritance. The MSci in Biochemistry with Professional Studies equips students with comprehensive knowledge of biochemical theories while developing practical lab expertise. Participants will master analytical methods and apply them in research contexts. The program emphasizes data collection, quantitative analysis, experimental interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
