Computer Engineering is an innovative and team-oriented degree program that blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on implementation. Computer Engineers turn ideas into reality, pushing boundaries and envisioning future advancements. They work on everything from common devices such as gaming consoles and smartphones to cutting-edge technologies like surveillance systems and medical equipment—skills you'll master in the Computer Engineering undergraduate program. Notably, this is among Queen's select research-focused degrees that cover both electronic hardware and software development. Graduates gain expertise in designing hardware components and programming the software to operate them. Strong industry partnerships ensure students engage with potential employers early on, through internships, sponsored hackathons, and project-based learning, all of which significantly boost career prospects.
