Qualification Requirements
Candidates for the PhD programmes in Mathematics or Statistics should normally have a first or good upper second-class honours BSc in mathematics or statistics, or a more advanced qualification such as MSci, MMath, or MSc. IELTS (Academic) minimum score 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking.  TOEFL minimum score 92 overall with 21 in Writing, 19 in Reading, 18 in Listening and 21 in Speaking.
