This advanced diploma offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the relationship between mental health conditions and criminal conduct, along with strategies for violence prevention through proper care and supervision of individuals at risk of offending. The program integrates perspectives from forensic psychology, psychiatry, criminology, sociology, and public health. Designed for learners seeking practical training in forensic psychology, psychiatry, and/or criminology without requiring British Psychological Society accreditation for the Forensic Psychology Qualification (QFP). Professional opportunities This curriculum targets professionals wishing to deepen their understanding of forensic mental health without pursuing forensic psychology certification. It's particularly suitable for those with research interests in forensic mental health or established careers in criminal justice, healthcare, psychiatry, probation services, or social welfare.
Degree requirements: A good 2:2 or above at undergraduate level in Psychology or a related discipline such as Sociology, Criminology, Law, or a Medical degree (non-UK medical degrees marked on a grading scale must be equivalent to UK good 2:2). 
IELTS (Academic) minimum score 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking; TOEFL minimum score 92 overall with 21 in Writing, 19 in Reading, 18 in Listening and 21 in Speaking.
