The Master of Science in Intellectual Property, Data and Information Law caters to graduates from non-legal backgrounds seeking expertise in legal matters pertaining to creative sectors. This includes digital and technology fields as well as traditional industries like music, publishing, and film. The curriculum mandates foundational courses in key IP subjects (copyright, design, and patent law), while offering substantial elective options. Students learn from globally respected faculty who consult for major institutions including WIPO, EPO, UK IPO, and the European Commission. The program provides access to a prestigious 12-month paid traineeship through the Pan-European Seal initiative at OHIM or EPO. Participants join the renowned Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute (QMIPRI), which hosts regular academic events and seminars.
