Program overview This interdisciplinary program combines resources from the School of Business and Management and School of Mathematical Sciences. Participants will enhance their mathematical and statistical expertise while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard software tools. The curriculum prepares students to oversee IT and analytics teams while addressing leadership challenges in digital transformation. It focuses on deriving actionable business insights from analytical findings. Instruction incorporates authentic case studies from diverse global markets, informed by an advisory board of digital business executives. Selected students may access summer internship opportunities with these corporate partners.
A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in any subject, provided the degree contains good levels of study of Mathematics and Statistics. Subjects likely to contain sufficient quantitative elements include Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Finance.
Students from less quantitatively oriented degrees, such as Accounting, Management and Politics, are welcome if they have focused on the more quantitative elements of those degrees.
 
IELTS (Academic) minimum score 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking.  TOEFL minimum score 92 overall with 21 in Writing, 19 in Reading, 18 in Listening and 21 in Speaking.
 
Candidates that do not currently meet the set entry requirements may also have the option to study the Graduate Diploma in Finance and Economics. Meeting the required grades on completion of this programme will provide a pathway to study MSc Business Analytics.
