In-depth financial education program. Particular emphasis on behavioral anomalies and enigmas in financial choices (particularly savings and investments) and market dynamics. Hosted by Queen Mary's School of Economics and Finance (SEF) at the Mile End location. Approximately 1,000 international postgraduate scholars. Instruction delivered by both active researchers and industry guest lecturers. Diverse selection of optional courses plus specialized workshops covering coding skills, Bloomberg terminal usage, and more (refer to Program outline). The QUMMIF fund manages actual capital (presently £40,000) through student-led analysis. Participates in the CFA Institute's Research Challenge (student teams compete against other universities).

Qualification Requirements

A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in any subject, provided the degree contains satisfactory study of Mathematics and Statistics. Subjects likely to contain sufficient quantitative elements include Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Finance. Students from less quantitatively oriented degrees, such as Accounting, Management and Politics, are welcome if they have focused on the more quantitative elements of those degrees. IELTS Academic- 6.5 overall including 6.0 in Writing, and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking. TOEFL- 92 overall including 21 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking.
