Develop sought-after statistical skills applicable across multiple sectors including pharmaceutical giants, technology firms, clinical research, psychology, and government organizations. Receive instruction from leading academics specializing in statistics, finance, and data analytics. Master essential programming tools including R and Python. Option to complete a practical dissertation project during summer term. Curriculum overview You'll master foundational statistical and machine learning principles along with relevant software applications. The curriculum also covers practical implementations in business analytics, biostatistics, medical research, and survey methodology. This three-semester program culminates in a summer research project, enabling you to hone advanced applied data science research capabilities.
A good 2:2 or above at undergraduate level in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject.
Applicants with a 2:1 in any other subject can also be considered provided the degree contains satisfactory study in mathematics or statistics.
 
IELTS (Academic) minimum score 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking.  TOEFL minimum score 92 overall with 21 in Writing, 19 in Reading, 18 in Listening and 21 in Speaking.
