The International Human Resource Management MRes program is designed for students pursuing doctoral studies or seeking careers in business and management research across academic, corporate, public, or nonprofit sectors. The School of Business and Management participates in the King's College LondonImperial College LondonQueen Mary ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership, providing exceptional doctoral training and funding opportunities for both 3 and 13-year studentships. This 12-month MRes blends mandatory research methodology courses with elective specialization modules, culminating in a thesis submission. Career Opportunities: This program serves as excellent preparation for doctoral studies through the LISS DTP Program and opens doors to research roles in diverse industries. Additionally, it qualifies for ESRC funding, potentially covering both MRes and subsequent PhD studies for those continuing their academic journey.
A 1st class degree at undergraduate level in any subject. A satisfactory research proposal that fits with research interests of staff in the School of Business and Management is also required. IELTS (Academic) minimum score 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking; TOEFL minimum score 92 overall with 21 in Writing, 19 in Reading, 18 in Listening and 21 in Speaking.
