This program explores the intersection between healthcare and legal systems. As the National Health Service faces mounting challenges in resource distribution and ongoing discussions about patient autonomy in medical decisions, there's rising demand for legally trained experts knowledgeable in health legislation. The curriculum covers foundational concepts like treatment consent and medical ethics, along with specialized health law topics including: healthcare quality regulation, mental health legislation, and workplace health laws. Students will develop expertise in UK medical practice regulations, considering both European Union directives and global health standards.

The LLM in Health Law engages students with core legal frameworks applied to medical contexts. Participants will acquire advanced knowledge of the organizational, regulatory and legal foundations supporting healthcare delivery.
