Software plays a vital role in modern industries. It has the power to protect lives, enhance efficiency, and forecast upcoming trends. We'll equip you with the expertise and understanding to develop top-tier software, while providing ample access to our cutting-edge facilities for testing purposes.

These are precisely the qualities employers look for - confident, job-ready professionals who already possess essential software competencies.

Businesses and organizations consistently require skilled software engineers. As highlighted by eSkills UK, this demand is projected to outpace supply within the coming decade.

Our software engineering degree directly addresses this gap by preparing graduates with the exact skill set needed to create reliable, optimized, premium-quality software. You'll master fundamental programming techniques while gaining specialized knowledge in software engineering, system analysis, and design principles.

Every program in our Computer Science department begins with identical first-year coursework. This structure allows you to reconsider your specialization after starting your studies. Following your first year, you may opt to switch to either our BSc (Hons) Computer Science or BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Games Technology) programs.
