The BSc (Hons) Psychology with Sociology program is a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited qualification that merges in-depth psychological training with the examination of social systems and societal structures. Students enjoy weekly research seminars, guidance from more than 80 specialists, and access to cutting-edge laboratory facilities.

This program addresses all fundamental Psychology topics required by the BPS syllabus, constituting two-thirds of the curriculum. These encompass brain functions, cognitive and behavioral processes, and psychology's practical applications in improving lives and communities. The remaining portion explores societal frameworks and sociological viewpoints on subjects like crime, gender inequality, and economic disadvantage.

Instruction comes from our faculty of over 150 psychology specialists within one of the UK's most extensive Psychology departments. Students utilize our advanced research labs for experiments and data interpretation.

Every program includes practical experience components, with assistance available for securing placements. Through sandwich years or integrated coursework, students can implement their knowledge professionally. Customize your studies with diverse elective modules taught by field experts. Participate in exceptional domestic and international opportunities including field excursions and summer programs abroad, with potential for a year's study at an overseas partner institution. Career possibilities are vast, extending beyond psychology and sociology to fields valuing communication, analytical reasoning, and data management skills.
