As criminal tactics change, so do our investigative approaches. Forensic experts now play pivotal roles in solving cases globally. While popular media has spotlighted forensics through books, television, and podcasts, the field encompasses far more than these portrayals suggest.
You'll collaborate with seasoned professionals in state-of-the-art facilities. Investigate our renowned crime-scene house for evidence, analyze real-world case studies developed by our instructors, examine findings in specialized forensic, chemistry, bioarchaeology, and ballistics labs, and present conclusions in NTU's realistic courtroom settings.
This engaging, rigorous program blends legal principles, ethical considerations, and advanced scientific techniques. You'll benefit from distinguished guest lecturers, internship and international study options, and a supportive academic community. Forensic science has worldwide applications - while ideal for aspiring crime-solving chemists, career opportunities extend to food safety, biometric security, wildlife protection, financial investigations, and combating counterfeit goods, smuggling operations, and emerging synthetic drugs.
