The planet confronts extraordinary environmental crises that endanger the future of all living beings. This program delves into ecological principles, nature's wonders, and preservation strategies by examining habitat dynamics, plant life, and human interactions. You'll investigate actionable conservation approaches through diverse teaching methods including lectures, lab work, and field studies, equipping you for professional roles in environmental protection.

Our expansive 200-hectare countryside campus provides an exceptional training ground where theoretical knowledge meets real-world application. This outdoor laboratory features prominently across our curriculum, enabling hands-on species monitoring and habitat assessments. Learn from instructors with extensive conservation field experience and ecological research backgrounds.

The program includes immersive field expeditions to remarkable locations. Potential destinations include South Africa's savannahs, Spain's Mediterranean landscapes, and Pembrokeshire's coastal environments - each offering distinct biodiversity lessons. Additional day trips explore significant ecological sites throughout the region.

Between your second and final years, you can opt for a twelve-month professional placement within the conservation field. This valuable experience allows specialization in your preferred ecological focus while enhancing career readiness.
