This integrated foundation degree serves as a stepping stone to our BSc (Hons) Chemistry program upon successful completion of your foundation year. Should your academic interests shift, you'll have the flexibility to transition to either our BSc (Hons) Medicinal Chemistry or BSc (Hons) Forensic Chemistry programs after your initial year.
We provide comprehensive guidance throughout your journey to becoming a skilled chemistry graduate. This includes extensive practical training with cutting-edge equipment such as mass spectrometers, HPLC systems, GC instruments, x-ray crystallography apparatus, and NMR spectrometers - the same tools used by professional chemists in industrial settings.
Beyond receiving instruction from our expert faculty and technical staff, you'll benefit from small class sizes that foster confidence building, skill development, and meaningful peer connections. NTU takes particular pride in easing the transition from secondary education to university life, offering exceptional instruction from dedicated educators along with supplemental guidance from student mentors and our technical team.
For both theoretical and practical aspects of your studies, you'll have access to lecturers, personal tutors, and technical support staff - ensuring you always have knowledgeable professionals to consult. These individuals will become familiar with your progress and can direct assistance to areas where you need it most.
Our peer mentoring program connects you with advanced students who can offer study strategies, coursework advice, and insights into student life. Having recently navigated similar challenges themselves, they provide valuable firsthand perspectives.
