NTU's Fashion and Textiles program is globally renowned for producing highly skilled, industry-prepared graduates. This distinctive UK-based textile design course lets you experience various textile design disciplines before focusing on specialized creative fields like textile printing, embroidery, weaving, and knitting as your skills progress.

For emerging designers, we provide comprehensive training in all textile design elements, covering essential concepts in color theory, form, scale, patterning, and composition. With guidance from our experienced faculty and technical team, you'll master both traditional and digital methods using our professional-grade facilities.

The program maintains strong industry connections, offering students opportunities to engage in real-world projects, competitions, internships, and international fashion/textile events like Paris's Première Vision. You can undertake work placements lasting up to one year, potentially earning an extra Professional Practice Diploma or Certificate. Participate in prestigious competitions organized by PV NextGen, RSA, the Society of Dyers and Colourists, i-dott, and Bradford Textile Society. Additionally, students may apply for financial support through The Worshipful Company of Weavers.
