Discover your creative potential through our Furniture and Product Design program. Learn to develop groundbreaking products for various industries, blending commercial viability with conceptual thinking. Experience a practical, hands-on methodology that prioritizes learning by doing, encouraging material exploration and process experimentation.

We'll examine functionality, aesthetics, and the connections we form with everyday items. Along with essential technical abilities such as drawing, modeling, and prototyping, we'll address crucial ethical considerations in design, study evolving lifestyle trends and their influence on purchasing decisions, and investigate novel approaches to furniture and product manufacturing. Apply your knowledge to real-world projects, with the option to undertake a year-long industry placement at the forefront of professional practice.

We cultivate original thinkers, not uniform designers. Our graduates emerge as unique professionals – some establish thriving independent practices, while others take on varied positions with renowned firms including Habitat, John Lewis, DFS, and The Design Council. Career paths range from designer-makers to journalists and curators. By refining your skills, cultivating a personal design philosophy, and seizing exceptional opportunities, you'll distinguish yourself in the competitive design landscape.
