Throughout all three years, you'll hone practical abilities across radio, television, and digital platforms. The curriculum covers broadcast writing, research techniques, interviewing, production, editing, and news presentation.
Significant focus is placed on mastering broadcast technology and IT systems. You'll participate in simulated newsroom exercises that mirror professional environments, occurring weekly during key study periods and as intensive news week simulations. Faculty and industry professionals serve as editorial advisors, while students rotate through various newsroom positions including anchoring, reporting, production, and editing roles.
