International commerce refers to commercial exchanges (including sales, investments, logistics, and transportation) occurring across national borders between two or more countries or regions. Why does this matter? In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, organizations seek to strengthen their global competitiveness. Consequently, there's growing need for professionals with strong international management expertise and comprehensive business acumen.
Nottingham Business School anticipated this need through our BA (Hons) International Business program, designed to produce exceptional graduates capable of shaping and enhancing global business practices.
This program provides comprehensive knowledge of accounting, finance, cultural dynamics, marketing, supply chain management, and operations within global business contexts and their real-world applications. We stand among few UK institutions incorporating language training into such programs, enhancing your cross-cultural communication skills. Given the program's global focus, international exposure forms a mandatory and essential component. The four-year sandwich option enables overseas study and/or work placements, allowing complete cultural immersion to fulfill this requirement.
