Northumbria University's Industrial Design program offers a focused approach that integrates technology, engineering, creative arts, and business innovation. This curriculum fosters comprehensive knowledge of solving sustainability issues through human-centered and eco-conscious design principles applied to intelligent products and services, especially those utilizing AI advancements. During the Master's program, students develop skills to design improved products, services, and business frameworks that align with evolving societal needs, with all module evaluations based on coursework submissions.
A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in design, Business, Engineering and computing or a related discipline. Applicants with appropriate work experience and/or a relevant professional qualification will be considered. International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).
