As a postgraduate student specializing in Speech and Language Sciences, you'll undertake a significant research project under the guidance of supervisors who are leaders in their fields.
Our institution provides specialized supervision across these key research domains:
connections between speech production and perception
monolingual and bilingual language acquisition in children, with particular emphasis on Arabic
early childhood education policies focusing on language development and how socioeconomic factors influence linguistic growth
evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment approaches for speech and communication disorders, including:
developmental speech and language disorders in children (such as specific language impairment)
language processing difficulties in individuals with aphasia and post-stroke memory impairments
measuring the efficacy of speech therapy interventions and studying the cognitive processes involved in word production
computer-based simulations of lexical retrieval processes
