We welcome applications for MPhil and PhD biotechnology research opportunities focused on marine sciences.
These biotechnology postgraduate programs are offered within the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE).
Our marine science research has achieved groundbreaking progress in creating innovative antibiotics. We've also made significant discoveries in extracting omega-3 oils from plankton. Additionally, we investigate practical uses of marine life, such as creating sustainable antifouling solutions.
MPhil programs cover all research areas, providing comprehensive training and requiring completion of an original 40,000-50,000 word dissertation.
