This three-year joint honors program in Psychology and Biology (BSc) provides comprehensive training across both disciplines. You'll explore the underlying mechanisms of human and animal behavior while gaining deep insights into biological sciences.
The curriculum includes an optional international exchange or professional placement year, available for application after your initial year of study.
Instruction draws from cutting-edge research, with many classes conducted in the modern Dame Margaret Barbour building designed specifically for this purpose.
Graduating as a versatile psychology specialist with biological expertise, you'll examine compelling subjects ranging from ecosystems and genetic inheritance to mental processes and the evolutionary basis of medical conditions

A-Level
AAA including Biology and preferably another science. We include Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics as science A Levels. General Studies not accepted. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Levels, we require a pass in the practical element. GCSE Mathematics and English (Language or Literature)(at a minimum grade B or 6) are required.
International Baccalaureate
A minimum of 36 points with three subjects at Higher Level grade 6 or above including Biology. At least two sciences at Higher Level are preferred. We include Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Psychology and Chemistry as science subjects.
Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent with no less than 6.5 in each of the four elements of the test.
T0efl - 90 overall (with a minimum of 21 in listening, 22 in reading, 23 in speaking, and 22 in writing)
