Our Physics foundation year equips you for entry into any of our three-year BSc programs, paving the way for a rewarding career in this dynamic discipline. During this preparatory year, you'll build essential knowledge to advance to our Physics BSc degrees. The full-time curriculum focuses on fundamental physics and mathematics subjects, such as: introductory mathematics, basic physics, elementary statistics, mechanical applications, and materials science. Our program maintains valuable research partnerships with notable organizations including Littelfuse, the De Beers Group, DEFRA, STFC, NASA, LOFAR, Intel, and CPI.

AAB excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking OR ABB if at least one A level from: Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Geography, History, Physics and Modern/Classical Languages or grade 2 in any STEP paper.
Equivalent A level grades will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
GCSE grade B or 6 in Mathematics and Physics (or Dual Award Science) required. When Maths or Physics A levels are taken we require a minimum grade B.
International Baccalaureate
34 points. GCSE grade B or 6 in Mathematics and Physics (or Dual Award Science) required.
ielts - Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent including 5.5 in each of the four elements of the test.
