Engage deeply with the Greek and Roman worlds through this Classical Studies and English BA Honours program, examining how these ancient cultures have shaped English literature, poetry, drama, and cinema.

You'll examine the languages and literary works of ancient Greece and Rome while gaining insight into how Greek, Latin, and English authors interpreted and depicted their worlds through writing.

The program investigates the interplay between English literature and Greco-Roman works, highlighting the Classical tradition's role in shaping Western thought. You may also have the option to study classical texts either in translation or their original languages.

AAB either including English Literature or English Language and Literature or including evidence of readiness to begin university-level study in literature (such as A-levels in other arts and humanities subjects).
International Baccalaureate
A minimum of 34 points with English grade 6 at Higher Level or including evidence of readiness to begin university-level study in literature (such as HLs in other arts and humanities subjects).
IELTS - Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent with no less than 5.5 in each of the four elements of the test
TOEFL iBT - 90 overall (with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing)
