Qualification Requirements

We accept the equivalent of the below qualifications from a recognised overseas qualification

We welcome applications from graduates with a 2-2 honours degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject such as Medicine Nursing Psychology Statistics Dentistry Biomedical Sciences and Biosciences degrees Other degrees with sciences andor a statistics component will also be considered
We also welcome applications from candidates with a minimum of three years work experience in public health related senior positions
Evidence of significant study during the last five years is required
We also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with a minimum of three years work experience Those without formal qualifications need to demonstrate relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level

You must have competence in English language to study with us The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in all components or TOEFL paper based 575 no less than 45 in test of written English or TOEFL internet based 90 with no less than 19 in each component We also normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification
