The Media Foundation Year serves as an introductory pathway to a media degree for students who currently don't meet the standard entry criteria. This four-year program begins with a foundational year, followed by three years of degree-level study upon successful completion. Most students successfully transition to the degree program, with many becoming top-performing alumni.
This Foundation Year is ideal if:
you lack the formal qualifications for direct degree entry
you need additional preparation before starting degree-level work
you want to build technical skills and confidence in media-related subjects
you're returning to education and need to refresh your study skills before degree study
Our experienced degree lecturers and industry professionals teach the Foundation Year. Learning occurs through digital seminars, webinars, lectures, and interactive student collaboration.
