A foundation year could be an excellent option if you currently lack the necessary qualifications or don't feel prepared for university-level studies. It's also ideal if you're returning to education and need to refresh your knowledge before beginning a degree program.
Most students successfully transition to full degree programs, with many becoming top-performing graduates. Our Accounting and Finance Foundation Year serves as a pathway to business degrees for students who don't yet meet standard entry requirements. You'll learn from the same faculty who teach our degree programs, through small seminars, workshops, and lectures. This year helps you build valuable business, communication, and analytical skills.
You'll register for a four-year program that begins with this preparatory year. Successful completion guarantees your place in one of our three-year degree programs in this field.
Consider the Foundation Year if:
you lack formal qualifications for direct degree entry
you don't feel ready for university-level work
you're returning to education and need academic preparation before starting a degree.
Program duration: 1 year foundation + 3 years degree study.
