During the program, you'll examine subjects like early speech delays, brain trauma injuries, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). The curriculum also covers autism spectrum conditions, speech fluency issues, phonological development problems, and neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease. Our program equips you to practice in diverse environments with patients of all ages.

For financial support, postgraduate pre-registration MSc Speech and Language Therapy students qualify for standard student loans, following the same funding structure as undergraduate pre-registration programs.

Upon completing our program, graduates meet the requirements for professional certification with both the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The two-year program includes clinical placements, offering hands-on learning opportunities. Potential placement settings range from special education programs in high schools to autism support facilities and hospital stroke rehabilitation units.

Most instructors are practicing speech therapists, supplemented by guest lectures from specialists in related fields like linguistics.

Our faculty brings extensive experience from roles in school systems and healthcare organizations, providing insights into both child and adult treatment settings within education and medical contexts.
