Nurses serve as the frontline professionals in healthcare, offering reassurance through clear explanations of medical procedures.
They stand as pillars of constant support, safeguarding patient well-being and delivering compassionate care in all situations.
Our MSc Adult Nursing (Pre-registration) program aligns with NHS constitutional principles, equipping you with the knowledge to care for and assist vulnerable adults effectively.
This accelerated postgraduate pathway is tailored for degree holders, enabling you to qualify as an adult nurse in just two years instead of the standard three-year duration.
We focus on preparing you for real-world challenges while cultivating the leadership qualities essential for nursing excellence. You'll develop skills in patient assessment, compassionate care delivery, and interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals like physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and nutrition experts.

Half your studies will involve hands-on clinical placements or simulated learning across diverse healthcare environments, guided by experienced practitioners. These may include surgical units, emergency departments, community clinics, critical care wards, outpatient services, or residential care facilities.
On campus, you'll train in our acclaimed Brooks building, featuring state-of-the-art medical simulation technology and hospital-grade facilities.
Through small-group sessions in our clinical simulation suite, you'll master essential nursing competencies by recreating complete patient care experiences from admission through recovery.
Our Nursing School faculty comprises practicing nurses, public health specialists, clinical leaders, and academic experts - many of whom have received national recognition for their professional achievements.
The School of Nursing has earned distinction in both the Student Nursing Times Awards and Guardian League Tables, reflecting our commitment to outstanding nursing education.
