The MA/MFA in Contemporary Curating examines exhibition practices within modern culture, investigating curatorial approaches within gallery and museum settings, as well as in biennials, public art installations, and commissioned projects. This program analyzes how diverse artworks and initiatives are interpreted through the exhibition medium.
A key focus is the evolving dynamic between artists, institutions, curators, and critics/writers. Additionally, the course investigates how curatorial principles can extend beyond traditional exhibitions to influence publications, symposiums, events, and artistic interventions.

You will normally have an undergraduate UK honours degree or international equivalent or a degree-equivalent postgraduate diploma or a professional qualification. Alternatively, you may be admitted if you can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills at honours degree standard.
