The School of Digital Art's (SODA) MA Photography program offers an innovative platform to challenge and expand the frontiers of contemporary photography. You'll engage with photography through its diverse critical frameworks and technological advancements while shaping your artistic approach to align with personal aspirations and career goals.
As an MA Photography student at SODA, you'll join a cutting-edge facility specifically designed for today's evolving creative and digital landscape. The program fosters interdisciplinary learning experiences that mirror current industry workflows, providing chances to work alongside a vibrant network of sound specialists, video creators, game designers, and other professionals. Qualification Requirements
You should have at least a 2:2 undergraduate UK honours degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Photography, Digital Photography, Filmmaking, Digital Imaging, Fine Art, Illustration).
Equivalent EU/international qualifications are also accepted.
Applicants who do not meet these criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Other professional qualifications will be considered on merit and/or with relevant professional experience.
Please be aware the University may not be able to make a decision on your application without the academic transcript for your highest qualification. An interim transcript may be acceptable if the qualification is not yet complete.
